You don't need to practise in front of the mirror.

Just come as you are.
We'll chat for a little while before we even pick up the camera. We'll guide you through everything, so you'll never be left wondering what to do next.

Most Regents Park mums expect a longer drive and are pleasantly surprised. It's a straight run down Wembley Road to Park Ridge Road with no tolls and free parking right at the studio door. The map and full address are at the bottom of this page if you want to check for yourself.

That's completely normal. We'll gently guide you throughout the session, so you'll never have to wonder where to stand or what to do next.
The studio is yours.
When you arrive, there won't be other families waiting or people walking past.

What does the day actually feel like?

Before you come in
We'll send you a preparation guide and have a quick chat beforehand. Nothing formal. Just a chance to talk through what you're hoping for, what you're nervous about, and what you'd like to avoid. If you have questions at any point, you can message us directly.

On the day
You'll arrive, settle in, and pick your gowns with Rue. There's no rush and no set schedule. We work at your pace. Gaurab will guide you through each setup so you always know exactly what to do. Most sessions run about two hours and feel a lot more relaxed than people expect.

A few days later
Your gallery is ready within 48 hours so you don't have to wait long. You pick your favourite images and we take care of the editing. Final portraits are delivered within four weeks. No chasing us up required.

The questions most people don't ask out loud
- It might be, and here's why. Most people who say that have only ever been photographed without any direction. You're left to just stand there and smile. That's uncomfortable for anyone. In our studio, Rue guides you the whole way through. Where to put your hands, how to angle your body, when to look away from the camera. You don't have to think about it. That's what makes the difference.
- Message us and tell us where you're at. We'll be honest with you. If your dates work, we'll make it happen. If they don't, we'll tell you straight away rather than have you stress about it. Most mums are surprised how flexible we can be, even in the last few weeks.
- That's pretty common. We don't pressure anyone. If your partner wants to join for part of the session, great. If not, the whole session can be just you. A lot of mums actually prefer it that way. It becomes a bit more personal. Either is completely fine.
- No, you don't have to sort anything in advance. We have more than 50 gowns at the studio. When you arrive, Rue will go through them with you and help you pick what works best. If you'd like to bring something of your own, you're welcome to. But most mums just use what's here.
- That's something only you can decide. What we can say is that most of the mums who book with us do it once, and they're glad they did. The bump doesn't last long. The photos do. If you're unsure, have a look through the gallery first and see if it feels right for you.
I hate photos of myself. Will this actually be different?
